My wife, Mary, brought this fuzzy black Standard Poodle pup home yesterday - 06/19/02. He's 8 weeks old and weighs 15 lbs. His sire was 65 lbs and I think his mother was about 50 lbs.
I hope my squirrel hunting buddies don't give me too much grief for having a Poodle in the family - lol At least they're supposed to be extremely smart (just what Mary and I need, a dog smarter than us), love the water, make good watch dogs and don't shed. They were originally bred to be retreivers and I read where, a few years ago, a man entered a team of them in the Iditarod sled-dog race. They didn't do too bad - I think they came in like 6th.
I wonder what you'd call a Cur/Poodle cross - A Curdle?
